No Man's Sky Introduces Update for July 2025
Jul 02, 2025

No Man's Sky has put out Patch 5.73, fixing many bugs found in the new Beacon update, and also sorted out some long-time issues with the Nintendo Switch 2 version of this space game. It has been over eight years since it first came out, and No Man's Sky keeps getting fresh updates. Hello Games has changed the game from a failure to a much-loved sci-fi game.
Shared on the game's own web page, patch 5.73 for No Man's Sky has many bug fixes and is now up on Steam. It will soon be on other game sites too. Fixed issues include one that messed up settler data start-up, a glitch that missed a key part in medium houses, and a bug that stopped visitors at settlements from giving out their gifts right. Some issues with No Man's Sky's Switch 2 game have been solved too, like one that made the warp tunnel look very bad and another that stopped photos from being taken at a base station. Players can send in a bug report if they find issues.
After No Man's Sky came out on the Switch 2, many players had trouble with the game's group play on Nintendo's new device. But now, this issue seems fixed, and fans can enjoy the space game on the move and join up with friends easily. Those who have the game on the old system can move to the Switch 2 version for free, with features that let them play and save across different devices.
In late 2024, Martin Griffiths from Hello Games said that No Man's Sky will get new stuff for more years to come, with the space game far from done. With more people playing on the Switch 2 and the game getting a 'Very Positive' mark on Steam, the future looks bright for this game that once was not liked much. Now, the community is eager to see what the team will do next.
