Magic: The Gathering is racing into a new partnership, teaming up with Sega's iconic speedster for a special series of Secret Lair drops. This collaboration focuses on three limited-time collections, offering a distinct approach compared to the expansive Final Fantasy release that featured full Commander decks and booster packs.
Sonic: Friends & Foes Collection
This first drop introduces seven brand-new cards to the game. Fans can collect their favorite characters, each with unique abilities that reflect their personalities and roles from the Sonic universe. The lineup includes:

- Miles "Tails" Prower
- Dr. Eggman

Sonic: Chasing Adventure Collection
Two existing Magic collections are receiving a vibrant visual overhaul with Sonic-themed artwork. The Chasing Adventure set gets a fresh coat of paint, reimagining its cards through the lens of Sonic's adventurous world. This provides players with new aesthetic options for their decks while maintaining the original card mechanics.
Sonic: Turbo Gear Collection
This collection transforms classic Magic artifacts with a distinct Sonic style. Beyond the new look, these cards are engineered to have powerful synergy with the characters in the Friends & Foes set. For example, pairing Knuckles with a particular artifact can create a formidable combination, unlocking new strategic potential for players.

All three Secret Lair x Sonic the Hedgehog releases will be available for a limited time. They offer both regular and premium foil versions to suit collector preferences.
